About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Senior Property Developer to drive their development projects across Scotland. This critical role involves overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies to planning, construction, and final delivery. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a remote team member, you will need exceptional communication and project management skills to effectively lead and coordinate diverse teams and stakeholders involved in shaping the future of property development for our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and acquisition of new development opportunities.
• Manage all phases of the property development process, from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring strict adherence.
• Oversee site design, planning applications, and obtain necessary regulatory approvals.
• Manage relationships with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure projects meet quality, sustainability, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Significant experience (8+ years) in property development , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and contract management.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience in project budgeting and cost control.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and relevant industry tools.
• Degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
