Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-step synthetic routes to prepare complex organic molecules and intermediates.
• Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and scalability of synthetic processes.
• Utilize modern analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, MS, HPLC) for compound characterization and purity assessment.
• Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists and other scientists to support project goals.
• Troubleshoot synthetic challenges and proactively identify solutions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports.

Requirements

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in synthetic organic chemistry .
• Proven expertise in modern synthetic methodologies and reaction mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of organic synthesis techniques and purification methods.
• Familiarity with spectroscopic and chromatographic analytical techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
