About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and self-motivated Senior Site Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves providing crucial technical support and engineering expertise to various construction projects across the UK, without the need for on-site presence. You will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects, ensuring quality and compliance, and offering guidance to site teams from your home office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely, contributing to the success of projects nationwide from Wolverhampton .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical engineering support and guidance to site-based teams.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical submittals .
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, and building regulations .
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering issues encountered on project sites.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates for management.
- Monitor project progress remotely and advise on quality control measures and best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience as a Site Engineer or similar role, with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in engineering analysis and design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing relationships remotely.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote-first environment .
