Remote Senior Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for a variety of construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers , and construction teams via virtual communication channels.
• Perform site visits as occasionally required, or liaise with on-site engineers for necessary inspections.
• Review shop drawings and respond to technical queries from construction teams.
• Ensure all designs meet current building regulations, codes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in structural engineering design, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer) and CAD software.
• Excellent understanding of building materials and construction techniques.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to work independently.
