About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and technically proficient Remote Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their forward-thinking team. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to design and deliver sophisticated telecommunications solutions for a diverse client base without the need for a physical office. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, translating them into comprehensive technical designs, and guiding the implementation process. This is a crucial position for driving technological advancements and ensuring our client remains at the cutting edge of the telecoms industry , working from anywhere in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to gather and analyze business and technical requirements for telecommunications solutions.
- Design end-to-end network and communication solutions, including IP networking, cloud integration, and unified communications.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex telecommunications solutions , with a strong focus on architecture.
- Expertise in IP networking, routing protocols, SDN, NFV, and cloud-based network architectures.
- Experience with voice and video communication platforms, mobile technologies (4G/5G), and cybersecurity principles.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable designs and proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at working in a remote setting.
