About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Underwriter with specialized knowledge in Cyber Risks to join their globally distributed team. Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price complex cyber insurance risks, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite and profitability targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and clients, providing expert advice on cyber risk solutions.
• Contribute to the development of new cyber insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats and trends, adjusting underwriting strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including claims and legal, on cyber-related matters.
• Mentor and guide junior underwriters on technical aspects of cyber underwriting.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in underwriting, with a significant focus on cyber insurance or technology risks.
• Deep understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, data privacy regulations, and incident response.
• Proven ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and make informed underwriting decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using underwriting platforms and data analytics tools.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU) are highly desirable.
