About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Well Operations Engineer for a fully remote position, supporting operations that may involve field activities in areas such as Plymouth and beyond. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage and optimize well operations from a remote location. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring drilling and completion activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in well operations and a proven ability to manage complex projects remotely, collaborating closely with field teams and onshore support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise well operations , including drilling, completions, and interventions.
• Develop detailed well programs and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Manage operational logistics, equipment, and personnel remotely.
• Monitor real-time drilling and completion performance, providing technical guidance to field teams.
• Conduct post-operations analysis, identifying lessons learned and best practices.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in well operations and drilling engineering.
• Proven experience in planning and executing onshore and/or offshore well operations.
• Strong understanding of drilling, completion, and intervention technologies.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and make critical decisions under pressure.
