About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a talented and experienced Remote SEO Strategist to join their globally distributed team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies that enhance organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support the company's online growth objectives. The ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable in search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and has a proven ability to deliver measurable results in competitive online environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies encompassing technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
- Oversee the implementation of SEO best practices across websites, ensuring technical soundness and optimal user experience.
- Manage and build high-quality backlinks through effective outreach and digital PR initiatives.
- Monitor SEO performance using analytics tools, track rankings, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to adapt strategies accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven track record as an SEO Strategist or similar role, with demonstrable success in improving organic search rankings and traffic.
- Expertise in keyword research, competitor analysis, technical SEO audits, and link-building strategies.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of website architecture, crawlability, indexability, and user experience factors impacting SEO.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
