About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Software Installation Engineer to support their clients across the UK, operating remotely from the Bristol area. This role involves the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of specialized software solutions for various business needs. You will work closely with clients and internal development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of software applications. Key Responsibilities

• Remotely install, upgrade, and configure complex software applications for clients.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure successful software deployment and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software installation and configuration issues effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during and after the installation process.
• Document installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to report and resolve bugs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software installation, deployment, or configuration.
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues remotely.
