Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site-specific analysis to determine the technical and economic feasibility of solar PV installations.
- Develop performance models and energy yield assessments for solar projects using specialized software.
- Analyze solar resource data, shading impacts, and system design parameters to optimize energy production.
- Prepare financial models and investment analysis reports, including LCOE, IRR, and NPV calculations for solar projects.
- Monitor the operational performance of existing solar assets, identify underperformance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology, policy incentives, and market trends within the renewable energy sector .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar energy analysis, project development, or a related role.
- Proficiency with solar modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope, Aurora Solar) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python).
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology, system design principles, and performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and findings clearly in a remote setting.
