About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Solar Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of solar power projects from anywhere in the UK, serving clients and operations linked to Reading . This role demands a strategic thinker adept at managing all phases of a project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and site selection to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will be instrumental in driving the growth of renewable energy solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of solar energy project development and execution, from conception through to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , specifically within the renewable energy sector , with a strong focus on solar power .
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, delivered remotely.
• Excellent understanding of solar technology, project finance, and grid connection processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and collaboration tools.
