About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Sports Data Analyst to join their dynamic team, supporting their operations across various sporting domains. This position involves collecting, processing, and interpreting vast amounts of sports-related data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions, enhance performance, and identify new opportunities within the Leisure & Sports sector. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with stakeholders globally, utilizing cutting-edge tools and methodologies to uncover trends and patterns that drive success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from diverse sports-related sources.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, predict outcomes, and evaluate performance metrics.
- Develop reports and visualizations to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and performance teams to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in sports analytics and data science.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the sports industry or a data-intensive field.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting .
