Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze diverse sports datasets (e.g., player performance, fan behaviour, market trends).
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and sports analytics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the sports industry or with a strong portfolio of sports-related projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
