Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze vast amounts of performance data from various sources, including training sessions, matches, and physiological monitoring.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated performance dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to present key findings to coaches and athletes.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform training methodologies, tactical strategies, and athlete development plans.
- Collaborate closely with coaching staff to understand their specific needs and provide tailored data-driven recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sports science, performance analysis techniques, and relevant technologies.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders, including athletes and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Demonstrated experience in sports performance analysis, with a strong understanding of relevant metrics and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., R, Python) and database management.
- Experience with sports performance tracking technologies and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting.
