About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Remote Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimize their supply chain operations from anywhere within the UK. This fully remote role involves overseeing the procurement, logistics, and delivery of materials and finished goods, ensuring seamless flow and timely execution. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics in a manufacturing context.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock availability and minimize carrying costs.
• Arrange and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods to manufacturing sites and customers.
• Identify and implement improvements to supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Utilize supply chain management software and other digital tools to manage operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain coordination , logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, and transportation processes.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
