About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Remote Sustainable Agriculture Advisor to champion environmentally friendly farming practices across the UK. In this fully remote role, you will provide expert guidance and support to farmers and agricultural businesses transitioning towards more sustainable methods. Your focus will be on advising on soil health, water management, biodiversity enhancement, and reducing environmental impact. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver tailored advice on sustainable farming techniques, including organic methods, regenerative agriculture, and precision farming.
• Assist clients in implementing strategies to improve soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity on their farms.
• Educate farmers on the benefits and practical application of sustainable agricultural practices.
• Conduct remote assessments of farm operations to identify areas for environmental improvement.
• Stay current with research, policy changes, and innovations in sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for clients and relevant agricultural bodies.

Requirements

• A degree in Sustainable Agriculture, Environmental Science, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience working in sustainable agriculture, environmental consultancy, or agricultural extension.
• In-depth knowledge of soil science, crop nutrition, water management, and ecological farming principles.
• Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience with farm-level environmental assessments and sustainability reporting.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and digital communication platforms.
