About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Telecoms Network Architect to design and guide the evolution of their global network infrastructure. This position is fully remote, requiring an individual capable of defining strategies for scalable, secure, and resilient telecommunications networks that support business objectives. You will be instrumental in evaluating new technologies, setting architectural standards, and ensuring that the network infrastructure meets current and future demands. This is a senior-level role for a strategic thinker who thrives on complex challenges in the dynamic telecoms industry .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the high-level architectural vision for the company's telecommunications network.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define network standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on complex network design challenges.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture, with a strong focus on telecoms .
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise networking, routing protocols, cloud networking, and security architectures.
- Experience designing and managing large-scale, geographically dispersed networks.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
