About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Telecoms Software Developer to join their distributed engineering team, with a focus on serving operations in the Bradford region and beyond. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing software solutions that power modern telecommunications services, focusing on areas such as network management, service provisioning, and customer experience platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software applications for telecommunications systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Contribute to the development of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in production environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Developer , with a background in or strong interest in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the telecom sector (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++).
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
• Understanding of networking protocols and telecommunications concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.
