About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a skilled Remote Telecoms Support Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting customers and network operations from anywhere in the UK. This position is pivotal in providing second and third-line technical support for a range of telecommunications services and products. You will be instrumental in resolving complex customer issues, diagnosing network faults, and ensuring the continuous availability of our client's solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and hardware issues related to telecoms equipment and services.
- Perform remote troubleshooting, configuration changes, and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of support interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Develop and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs for common issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Telecoms Support Engineer role or similar technical support position.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, VoIP , mobile networks (3G, 4G, 5G), and related protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems effectively and efficiently.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and remote management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Must be comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting, managing your own workload and schedule.
