About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Telecoms Support Specialist to join their growing support team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be the primary point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues with their telecommunications services, providing timely and effective resolutions. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, patient, and possesses strong troubleshooting skills relevant to the telecoms sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat for telecoms -related issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of problems, including connectivity, voice, and data services.
- Guide customers through step-by-step solutions and clearly explain technical information.
- Log and track customer issues and resolutions accurately within the support ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Contribute to the knowledge base by creating and updating support articles and FAQs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in the telecoms industry.
- Strong understanding of common networking concepts and telecommunications technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with remote support tools and CRM/ticketing systems.
