About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Remote Transport Planner to optimize their distribution network. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods across the country, managed entirely from a remote location. You will be responsible for planning optimal routes, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating with drivers and warehouse teams to meet stringent delivery targets. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly transport plans and routes.

• Monitor transport performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS) and route optimization software.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex scheduling challenges from a remote setting.
• Knowledge of UK road networks and transportation legislation.
