About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Analyst to join their finance department on a fully remote basis, serving clients across the UK, including those in Norwich . This role is critical in managing the company's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk exposures. You will be involved in cash forecasting, managing banking relationships, and ensuring adequate funding to meet operational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills to contribute to the financial stability and efficiency of the organization from a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing cash flow forecasting models to predict short-term and long-term cash needs.
- Monitor daily cash positions and execute funding or investment strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions, ensuring efficient transaction processing.
- Support the management of foreign exchange exposures and other financial risks.
- Assist in the preparation of treasury reports and analyses for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures and relevant financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a treasury, finance, or banking role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems (TMS) is a plus.
- Understanding of cash management principles, financial markets, and instruments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in a remote setting.
