Remote VFX Supervisor

About the Role

Our client, a leader in visual effects for film and television, is seeking an experienced Remote VFX Supervisor to oversee complex visual effects projects from concept to final delivery. This senior role requires a comprehensive understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, strong artistic judgment, and exceptional leadership skills to guide artists and production teams. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients to ensure the highest standards of visual quality and seamless integration of effects into live-action footage. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the creative and technical execution of visual effects shots, ensuring artistic vision and project requirements are met.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients to define VFX needs and establish shot breakdowns.
• Guide and mentor the VFX team, providing clear direction and feedback throughout the production process.
• Liaise with on-set VFX supervisors to ensure seamless integration of digital elements with live-action photography.
• Manage VFX budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Oversee the quality control process for all VFX assets and final composite shots.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in visual effects, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven track record of successfully supervising VFX for feature films or high-end television series.
• Deep understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, including pre-production, on-set supervision, and post-production.
• Strong artistic eye, excellent understanding of cinematography, composition, and color theory.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with industry-standard VFX software and workflows.
