Remote Warehouse Operations Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Remote Warehouse Operations Analyst to support their extensive logistics network. Working from home, you will focus on analysing warehouse performance data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational effectiveness. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will be a key player in driving continuous improvement within the Logistics & Warehousing sector, collaborating virtually with teams across different locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse warehouse operational data, including productivity, throughput, and cost metrics.
• Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes, such as picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to management.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of new warehouse technologies and process changes.
• Collaborate effectively with remote and on-site operational teams to drive initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote setting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
