Remote Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and diligent Remote Warehouse Operative to support their logistics operations. While this is a hands-on role in terms of operational support, the coordination and administrative aspects will be managed through a remote capacity. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the smooth functioning of the supply chain from a coordinated, remote perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receiving, unpacking, and inspecting of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain stock within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space and adherence to storage protocols.
• Process outgoing orders, accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
• Liaise with the logistics team to report stock levels and address any immediate operational needs or discrepancies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment.
• Familiarity with stock management principles and order fulfillment processes.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills for remote coordination and reporting.
