About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivational Remote Warehouse Team Lead to oversee a team supporting their operations in the Sheffield area, while working entirely from home. You will be responsible for guiding your team in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and maintaining high standards of productivity. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a remote team and collaborate with on-site counterparts. You will play a critical role in driving efficiency and ensuring smooth operations within the logistics network through remote guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of remote warehouse associates to achieve performance targets.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including order processing, inventory management, and shipping coordination.
• Ensure adherence to established warehouse procedures and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between the remote team and on-site operational staff.
• Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing process improvements remotely.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team lead role, preferably with remote team management experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard office software.
• Ability to foster teamwork and maintain high morale within a remote setting.
