Renewable Energy Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Renewable Energy Analyst to join their expanding team. This role, based in Plymouth but with remote working flexibility, will focus on evaluating the feasibility and performance of various renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage. You will conduct market research, financial modeling, and technical assessments to support investment decisions and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, policy changes, and technological advancements impacting the renewable energy sector.
• Develop financial models to assess the economic viability of proposed renewable energy projects.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies for solar, wind, battery storage, and other renewable technologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project performance, market insights, and investment opportunities.
• Monitor the performance of existing renewable energy assets and identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with project development teams, investors, and other stakeholders to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within the renewable energy or power sector.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and market dynamics .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
