About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Renewable Energy Consultant to join their advisory team in Oxford . You will provide expert guidance to clients on the feasibility, implementation, and optimization of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage solutions. This role involves technical assessments, market analysis, and strategic advice to help clients achieve their sustainability and energy goals. The hybrid nature of this position allows for a balance between focused remote work and essential collaborative sessions, supporting the transition to a greener energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for renewable energy projects.
- Develop business cases, financial models, and project plans for renewable energy installations.
- Advise clients on technology selection, procurement strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor market trends and policy developments impacting the renewable energy sector.
- Support clients through the project development lifecycle, from concept to operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on consulting or project development.
- Strong understanding of various renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage) and their economic viability.
- Excellent analytical, research, and report writing skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to a hybrid working model.
