Key Responsibilities

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, battery storage systems, and related electrical components.
• Ensure all installations comply with industry best practices, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare installation areas for equipment mounting.
• Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure optimal performance post-installation.
• Manage inventory of installation materials and equipment on-site.
• Provide clear explanations of system operation to clients upon project completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience in solar panel installation or a related field (electrical, roofing, construction).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to installation work.
• Must possess a valid UK driving license and a good geographical knowledge of the Bristol area.
• Qualifications such as a Level 2 Diploma in Electrotechnical Technology or specific solar training are advantageous.
