Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze current and proposed energy policies, regulations, and market frameworks.
• Develop evidence-based policy recommendations to support the growth of renewable energy sources.
• Engage with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations to influence policy development.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Monitor international energy policy trends and best practices for potential adoption.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure policy advice is practical and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in energy policy, government affairs, or a related research role, preferably within the renewable energy sector .
• In-depth knowledge of UK and international energy policy, climate change mitigation strategies, and energy market structures.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in policy drafting and advocacy.
