About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and influential Renewable Energy Policy Advisor to join their team in Bristol . This role is crucial for navigating the complex policy landscape surrounding renewable energy development and deployment in the UK. You will be responsible for analyzing current and proposed legislation, advising on strategic positioning, and advocating for policies that support the growth of sustainable energy technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report on national and regional renewable energy policies, regulations, and incentives.
• Develop policy recommendations and position papers to support the company's strategic objectives.

• Conduct impact assessments of proposed policy changes on renewable energy projects and the market.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Policy, Law, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy policy analysis , advocacy, or regulation, with a focus on renewables.
• In-depth understanding of the UK's energy market, policy frameworks, and regulatory bodies.
• Proven ability to research, analyze complex information, and develop clear policy recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
