Renewable Energy Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of innovative green energy projects. This role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and stakeholder engagement through to construction and commissioning. You will be instrumental in driving the success of solar, wind, and other renewable energy initiatives, working collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams. This hybrid position offers a blend of remote flexibility and essential on-site collaboration to ensure project milestones are met effectively, contributing to a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects , ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management for project equipment and services.
• Conduct regular project reviews, prepare progress reports, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, specifically within the renewable energy sector .
• Strong understanding of solar, wind, or other renewable energy technologies and project lifecycles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with necessary site visits and team meetings.
