Renewable Energy Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to spearhead key initiatives in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for the successful delivery of innovative renewable energy projects, from conception through to completion. You will manage all aspects of project lifecycles, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of multiple renewable energy projects simultaneously.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and decision-making.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
• Report project progress and performance to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in managing complex projects, preferably in the energy industry or construction.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, battery storage).
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Certification such as PMP or Prince2 is highly desirable.
