Renewable Energy Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead the development and execution of key projects based in Southampton . This role involves managing all aspects of renewable energy initiatives from conception through to completion, including stakeholder engagement, budget control, and timeline adherence. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle for renewable energy projects , from feasibility studies to final handover.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project duration.
• Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Stakeholder management, including communication with investors, community groups, and government agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager , with a focus on renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, biomass).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience with contract management and procurement processes.
