Rental Property Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Rental Property Specialist to manage their rental listings and tenant relationships in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for marketing vacant properties, screening potential tenants, managing leases, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of rental properties. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing excellent service within the real estate rental market. You'll play a key part in maintaining high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction in Staffordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Market vacant rental properties through various channels to attract prospective tenants.
• Screen tenant applications, conduct background and credit checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Manage tenant inquiries, respond to maintenance requests, and coordinate repairs and property upkeep.
• Conduct property viewings and ensure properties are presented in excellent condition.
• Process rent payments and manage any necessary arrears procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all rental agreements, tenant communications, and property maintenance history.

Requirements

• Previous experience in lettings, property management , or a related real estate role.
• Understanding of the Stoke-on-Trent rental market and relevant housing regulations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in property management software is a plus.
