As a Pharmacy Technician for HMP Oakwood, you will have direct patient contact to ensure medicines management is robustly delivered in a safe and secure environment. Pharmacy Technician duties include:
- Administering medications during morning and evening meds rounds located on the residential units of the establishment.
- Stock management and ordering of medications.
- Actioning patient prescription requests.
- Assisting in medication review clinics.
- Liaising with internal and external providers for positive patient outcomes.
- Conduct spot-checks to ensure patient compliance with medications in their possession.
- Carry out medication reconciliations for all new patients to HMP Oakwood.
- Investigating any missed medications.
