Requirements Engineer
Contract: Until June 2027 Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire Hybrid - 1-2 days a week on site Rate: Up to £55ph, Outside IR35 SC minimum
Are you a Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I or Systems Engineer with requirements capture experience? Have you worked on complex engineering projects in a regulated or safety-critical environment? Do you have experience with systems engineering methods or requirements management tools?

What will you be doing? Capture, analyse and develop technical requirements Work with Project Managers and Engineering Task Managers Translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements Support requirements verification and validation Assist with system architecture, interfaces and lifecycle planning Prepare technical reports and project documentation
Where will you be doing it? You'll be working on major nuclear engineering programmes, supporting project teams with requirements capture and systems engineering. We're open to Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I and Systems Engineers with relevant experience, not just career Requirements Engineers.
What will you need? Engineering degree or equivalent experience Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I or Systems Engineering background Requirements capture, analysis or management experience Understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes Experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment DOORS experience desirable Nuclear experience beneficial, not essential SC Clearance minimum - DV Eligible
