Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize laboratory-scale processes, ensuring reproducibility and safety.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, research papers, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with pilot plant and production engineers to facilitate the scale-up of successful technologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering and related scientific fields.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field with a strong research background.
• Proven experience in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation in a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency with relevant analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques.
• Strong theoretical understanding of chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for scientific inquiry and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a research team in a laboratory environment in Leeds .
