Research Scientist - Molecular Modeling

You will work closely with medicinal chemists and biologists to provide insights into target-ligand binding, protein structure, and molecular dynamics. Key Responsibilities

• Perform molecular dynamics simulations and structure-based drug design calculations.
• Utilize computational chemistry software (e.g., Schrödinger, MOE, GROMACS) to analyze protein-ligand interactions.
• Generate and validate 3D models of biological targets and potential drug candidates.
• Interpret simulation results and provide clear, actionable recommendations to the drug discovery team.
• Develop and optimize computational workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to scientific literature and present findings internally and externally.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience in molecular modeling, simulation, and structure-based drug design.
• Proficiency with major molecular modeling software packages and Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong understanding of protein structure, enzyme mechanisms, and principles of drug discovery.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python for workflow automation is advantageous.
