Our client is seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Workers to join their team in Derby . You will assist residents with their daily living activities, fostering a supportive and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and hygiene, with respect and dignity.
• Support residents with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort, and assisting with the use of mobility aids.
• Help residents with meal preparation and feeding, catering to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Encourage and facilitate residents' participation in social activities, hobbies, and outings to promote engagement and well-being.
• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the senior care staff or manager promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, observations, and any incidents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately.
• Commitment to promoting resident dignity, independence, and choice.
• Understanding of basic safeguarding principles and confidentiality.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
