We are currently recruiting experienced Residential Childrens Support Workers to join our agency team, with opportunities available across Kent and the surrounding areas .

If you have experience supporting children and young people in residential care and are looking for flexible, ongoing agency work , we'd love to hear from you.

THE ROLE

As a Residential Childrens Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting young people to feel safe, secure and valued. You will work as part of a residential team, providing consistent care and encouragement while helping young people develop confidence, independence and positive life skills.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred support to children and young people.
• Supporting day-to-day routines, personal care and activities where required.
• Building positive, professional and trusting relationships.
• Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development.
• Encouraging participation in activities, education and community opportunities.
• Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Responding calmly and professionally to challenging situations.
• Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintaining accurate daily records and completing relevant documentation.
• Working effectively alongside permanent staff and other professionals.
• Promoting a safe, nurturing and supportive environment at all times.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for experienced, reliable and compassionate workers who have:

• Previous experience within social care or residential childcare.
• Experience supporting children or young people essential.
• Confidence working with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
