Residential Conveyancing Paralegal
Location: Sheffield City Centre
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
About the Role
As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, you will assist fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions, helping to ensure matters progress efficiently and clients receive an excellent standard of service throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters Managing and progressing transactions under appropriate supervision Dealing with client enquiries and providing regular updates on case progress Taking client instructions and accurately recording information Preparing correspondence, legal documents, forms, and reports Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, financial advisers, and solicitors Facilitating the exchange of contracts and completion processes Preparing financial statements and completion documentation Completing SDLT submissions and associated conveyancing formalities Preparing Certificates of Title for mortgage advance funds Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
About You
A minimum of one year's experience in a residential conveyancing or similar legal support role A good understanding of residential conveyancing procedures and transactions Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills A professional and proactive approach to client care The confidence to build effective working relationships with clients and third parties A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
