Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / CILEx

The Opportunity An established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or qualified CILEx professional to join its team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who can confidently manage a residential property caseload while delivering a professional and responsive service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Managing remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters Reviewing searches, contracts, title documentation and mortgage offers Raising and responding to enquiries Preparing files for exchange and completion Communicating regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements Maintaining accurate records and meeting internal compliance standards Candidate Requirements Qualified Solicitor or CILEx professional Minimum of five years’ post-qualified experience in residential conveyancing Demonstrable experience independently managing a residential conveyancing caseload Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment Client-focused, accurate and commercially aware Package and Benefits Salary of £50,000–£55,000, depending on experience Fully remote working Working hours of 9:30am–6:00pm 25 days’ annual leave An additional day’s leave for your birthday Immediate start available
