About the Role

Our client, an established architectural studio in Oxford , is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Residential Design Architect . This role focuses on creating beautiful, functional, and contextually sensitive homes and residential developments across the beautiful county of Oxfordshire . You will manage projects from initial client brief through to detailed design, working closely with consultants and contractors to ensure high-quality outcomes that respect the unique character of the local area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and bespoke design solutions for private residential properties and developments.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and visualizations for client presentations and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure designs adhere to planning policies, building regulations, and heritage considerations relevant to the Oxford region.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the design process.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent service and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of residential design work.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and visualization tools.
• Good understanding of planning processes, building regulations, and heritage guidelines, particularly in conservation areas.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage projects independently.
