About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and client-focused Residential Design Architect to join their established practice, operating with a fully remote model. This role involves designing bespoke homes, extensions, and renovations for private clients, ensuring high standards of design quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. You will guide clients through the entire design process, from initial concept and planning applications to detailed technical design and construction oversight. Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural designs for new-build homes, extensions, and alterations.
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements, brief, and budget.
- Prepare design proposals, planning application drawings, and detailed construction documentation.
- Manage the planning application process and liaise with local planning authorities.
- Provide technical support and site supervision during the construction phase.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations and technical standards.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with proven experience in residential design .
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality residential projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Good understanding of UK planning policies and building regulations for domestic properties.
- Excellent communication, client liaison, and project management skills.
