Residential Design Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Residential Design Architect to contribute to their portfolio of bespoke homes and multi-unit residential developments in and around Bristol . This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds, combining the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative energy of studio-based interaction. You will be responsible for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing living spaces, from initial concept design through to construction. We are looking for an architect with a passion for high-quality residential design and a keen understanding of client aspirations and contemporary living trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality residential projects, including bespoke homes, extensions, and multi-unit developments.
• Develop detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building regulations, planning policies, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the design and construction process.
• Manage project documentation and site visits as required in a hybrid working model.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of residential design projects.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, with excellent visualization skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and planning requirements for residential developments.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and material selection for high-quality homes.
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple residential projects concurrently.
