Residential Lettings Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished and results-driven Residential Lettings Manager to lead their busy lettings division in Cardiff . This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the residential lettings process, from generating new business and managing client portfolios to leading and motivating the lettings team. You will be pivotal in maintaining the company's reputation for outstanding service and achieving ambitious targets within the Welsh capital's competitive rental market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for property and people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to increase market share and property listings.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the lettings department, including team supervision and performance management.
• Conducting property appraisals and providing expert advice to landlords on rental values and strategies.
• Overseeing the tenant application and referencing process, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently met by the team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in residential lettings, with proven success in a management or senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation in the UK .
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of the Cardiff property lettings market.
• Ability to drive performance and motivate a team to achieve targets.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
