About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Residential Lettings Negotiator to join their busy agency in Cardiff . You will be the primary point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the process of finding and securing their ideal rental property. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a keen understanding of the local Cardiff property market, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a key member of the lettings team, you will contribute directly to the company's success in the vibrant Welsh capital.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property viewings with potential tenants, showcasing features and benefits effectively.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and in person.
• Negotiate rental terms between landlords and tenants to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes.
• Progress lettings from initial application through to referencing and final move-in.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, understanding their property requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Cardiff rental market and competitor activity.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a lettings negotiator or sales role, preferably within estate agency.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.
• A proactive and organised approach to managing viewings and applications.
• Familiarity with the Cardiff property market is highly advantageous.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for property viewings.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a target-driven team.
