Residential Property Lawyer – Somerset

This role is for a Residential Property Lawyer to join an established Property team in Somerset. The incumbent will manage a varied caseload of residential transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers from instruction to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters.
• Deliver practical, commercially focused advice while maintaining high standards of client care.
• Develop relationships with clients, introducers and local professional networks to grow profile and firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or conveyancer with minimum six years post‑qualification experience.
• Independent management of a busy, varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Commercial mindset, enthusiasm for business development and networking.
• Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution‑focused attitude.
