About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Residential Property Manager to oversee their portfolio of properties in and around Manchester . This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, coordinating maintenance, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with all relevant housing legislation. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote work flexibility and essential on-site property visits, providing a dynamic and engaging career path in the vibrant Manchester real estate market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties, acting as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards of maintenance and safety, documenting any issues.
• Oversee property repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors and ensuring timely completion of works.
• Process tenant applications, prepare tenancy agreements, and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
• Handle tenant inquiries, resolve disputes, and manage the eviction process when necessary, adhering to legal procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all landlord-tenant laws, health and safety regulations, and property management best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential property management or a similar role within the real estate sector.
• Strong understanding of UK landlord and tenant legislation and property management principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office suites.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple properties simultaneously.
• A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for property visits in and around Manchester are essential for this hybrid role.
